Terms of Service

By accessing or using ThaiMedi Aid(“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order. By using the Platform you warrant that you are of legal age and capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Medicines & Prescription Policy

• Prescription medicines may only be dispensed upon receipt and verification of a valid prescription issued by a registered medical practitioner.
• Uploading a false or altered prescription is illegal under Bangladeshi pharmaceutical law and may result in account suspension and referral to authorities.
• We reserve the right to cancel any order for prescription medicines that cannot be verified.
• Our AI prescription reader is an assistive tool only; final approval rests with a licensed pharmacist.

3. Orders & Pricing

• All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or failed verification.
• Delivery charges are shown at checkout; free delivery applies to orders above ৳1000.

4. Returns & Refunds

• Medicines cannot be returned once dispensed, in accordance with DGDA regulations.
• Non-pharmaceutical products (devices, personal care) may be returned within 7 days if unopened and in original packaging.
• Refunds for eligible returns are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
• Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@thaimediaid.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Bangladeshi law.
• Purchase controlled substances without a valid prescription.
• Resell medicines purchased through the Platform.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or scrape data without permission.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

Our AI tools (prescription scanning, medicine search, generic alternatives) are for informational assistance only. They do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any medication.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, images, logos, and software — is the property of ThaiMedi Aid Ltd or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThaiMedi Aid Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes by email.
